First held in 2010, the annual Awards hosted by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (MPP) provide an opportunity for high-achieving Pacific youth aged between 17-24, in New Zealand to be recognised for their contribution to to society, as well as excellence in their academic work, or demonstrating a skill in business. Awards are presented by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
Edwards had previously worked with the Ministry on smaller projects and were excited to be involved in such an esteemed event. Account Manager Brittany and Moana had a few meetings on site as the venue design was different to most due to the unusual structure of the building, “My dealings with Brittany were amazing. She presented various options based on our needs and was real pleasure to work with.”
The pack in required a scissor lift and a few of the Edwards’ hire team were involved. Moana recalls, “Everyone I met onsite was really polite, courteous and accommodating of my few requests on the day.” Brian, the technician who supported the whole event, gets a special mention, “We wouldn’t have been able to deliver such an exceptional occasion without the technician onsite. Brian was really great to work with on the day.”
“It really was a pleasure to work with Edwards and I believe that they went above and beyond and I was very impressed. I would definitely use their services again, and I would gladly recommend them to other organisations too.”
