AV Services for Sales Conference for ABC

When nearly one hundred ABC Business Sales staff gathered at Auckland’s Maritime Room for an evening of networking, insights, and entertainment, Edwards ensured the AV experience was seamless from start to finish. With high-profile speakers like Sir Ian Taylor and Darren Pratley, a live band, and a cocktail masterclass from Black Pineapple, the event required careful planning and technical expertise. First-time event organiser Nikki Amosa, ABC’s IT Manager, credits the success to Edwards’ responsive, hands-on approach—managing all technical liaison directly with presenters and suppliers, anticipating needs on the day, and helping her feel supported every step of the way.

Our Account Manager and technical team took complete care of the AV and sound system for Sir Ian Taylor and Darren Pratley, a cocktail masterclass and a live band as nearly one hundred ABC staff recently gathered at the Auckland Maritime Room to mix and mingle.

Nikki Amosa, ABC Business Sales’ IT Manager, nervously assuming the role of event organiser for the first time, puts the success of the event down to the commitment of the all the suppliers, notably Edwards who provided the audio-visual equipment and technical support.

“It was such a relief to be able to hand over all the liaison to Edwards. The presenters contacted Edwards directly and they sorted all the technical requirements out for them.”

Edwards also dealt directly with Black Pineapple who supplied the cocktail making class, providing a camera on a rig above the table beaming live to the big screens, and catered for the needs of the MC, “Organising an event for the first time was stressful but nothing was too hard for Edwards and they just made it so easy for me.”

Edwards’ tech guy on the day Brian anticipated everything. He was a joy to work with and really knows his stuff. And my Account Manager Ed was amazing too. In the build-up he would regularly check in to make sure that everything was OK and to remind me if I needed to do something at my end. I’m in IT so event organisation was all new to me but Edwards really took that on board and helped keep my stress levels under control!
