This was a crisis situation for the Auckland Town Hall. The Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra and the Topp Twins were due to perform live in front of a full house audience and the show was to be recorded for TV, but the in-house venue system was proving inadequate.

Edwards received the phone call at 5:10 PM and we delivered twenty-four Aero 12A's at 8 AM the next morning. Subwoofers were not required since the Aero 12A extends down to 63Hz.

Even with TV camera crews everywhere, our guys got the speaker clusters hung up and ready to go in under 2 hours and everyone was notably impressed with the rigging and ease of set up. The quality of the sound was a clear improvement on the lightweight equipment you can find being passed off as "professional."

This was one of the first outings for the new line array speaker hire system and it proved how fast and easy the system is to set up and just how good the DAS audio speakers are.
