Altea duo-10A is a 3-way ABS-injected powered portable column system designed for mobile applications from corporate events, celebrations, and conferences to live music and more.
Its two-channel Class D amplifier and universal power supply with 1000W peak power provides the power and dynamics that such an ultra-lightweight system requires. The DSP board incorporates DAScontrol technology with LCD display and a rotary knob for selecting multiple acoustic modes (presets) depending on how the system is used as well as access to other configurable options within the system’s menu. The DSP incorporates two independent mic/line inputs with their respective volume settings, plus a third instrument input designed for connecting keyboards, basses or guitars. Audio can be sent wirelessly from mobile devices and the entire system can be controlled with the DASlink GM app.
The system incorporates a 10″ 10MG4 speaker developed specifically for low-frequency reproduction with ultra-low distortion levels via a powerful magnetic assembly and a cone suspension design with high displacement capability. To reproduce mid and high frequencies, the top system features two 3″ 3PN16 drivers with neodymium magnets and an M27N neodymium compression driver coupled to a 100º x 50º horn. The horizontal directional control of the system provided by the horn is highly uniform across the entire high-frequency spectrum (f>1000Hz) and the compression driver ensure that the highs are bright and defined.
The system is also available in white with the Altea duo-10A-W model by special order
