When Breast Cancer Foundation NZ was unable to go ahead with the Breast Nurse Specialists Annual Meeting due to COVID restrictions they reached out to Edwards in the hope of going virtual. Critically, they still wished to maintain the engagement of their live event.
We took the in-person event and converted it in a fully digital virtual event hosted in our Edwards Live Studio. Recognising that engagement was very important we dedicated ourselves to re-purposing the content and activities that had already been developed to create a riveting livestream event.
Presenters were invited into the Edwards Live Studio facility in Penrose, Auckland, throughout the day of the event to use our space to prepare to go live with their presentation. Those who were unable to travel to our facility were provided with online training and familiarisation in advance to ensure that they would be comfortable going live to a large audience.
All the presenters truly appreciated the remote presenter training. Our team worked with them on lighting, backgrounds, video and sound quality, and network connections, checking every detail to ensure the event went ahead seamlessly.
The day was a success with the presenters enjoying the experience as much as the participants, thanks to our team’s friendly and professional support.
Well done team Edwards!
