Live streaming with AudioPressBox
How can journalists and reporters livestream press conferences or events directly online (e.g. to Facebook) with just their mobile phone?
The answer is the AudioPressBox. Connect the Smartphone to your AudioPressBox via iRig Stream using an XLR - 2 cinch cable. This will work with the latest versions of both iPhone and Android devices. Note that they no longer have a 3.5mm jack so you will need to connect them via a USB-C or a lightning connector. Once connected the line output level allows you to stream a press conference or event directly online.
If your smartphone still has a 3.5 mm jack, you can still use this solution, but instead of the iRig stream, you will use iRig Pre. This iRig is connected with AudioPressBox with standard shielded microphone cable with XLR connectors.
