Medidata Services Ltd, New Zealand’s premier database company of medical professionals, took advantage of Edwards’ in-house studio and highly professional technical support to stream a series of webinars to satellite locations across the country on behalf of a major client.
Sharon Weston, Medidata’s Business Development Manager and Coco Kim-Corey, Sales Administrator, were extremely impressed, both with the superior studio and the level of attention to detail and support that the Edwards team provided,
“From our first meeting Edwards filled us with confidence that they had the experience to manage the audio-visual side of things, leaving us reassured and able to concentrate on the rest of the logistics.”
The Edwards team continued to put everyone’s minds at ease throughout the process, “Edwards were available to support our client’s local AV teams to make sure that everything was working as required at the satellite locations. They also went live an hour before the webinars began with an opening slide and background music playing, giving everyone across the country time to check the audio and video. Occasionally when there was a minor problem, Edwards had a dedicated tech support person at the studio to troubleshoot with the remote teams.”
Interaction between the presenters and audience was supported using the Slido app, with questions collated and moderated before being put to the speakers, “Slido was new to the moderator who along with the earlier education from Medidata, was also grateful to Edwards for their in-studio support. It was a very different way to present and I have to credit Edwards with creating a sense of ease that reassured everyone, including us!”
Both Sharon and Coco have no hesitation in working with and recommending Edwards for the audio-visual element of any event,
“Harry supported us with our proposal and helped by making suggestions and recommendations, and was very responsive and reassuring to our every query, and there were many! Vi, Patrick and Ben, Edwards’ studio-based technical support team, were fantastic. I’m just sorry we can’t work with them all over New Zealand!”
