Edwards Sound was proud to deliver full AV and live streaming support for the Whale Tales Auction, a high-profile hybrid event hosted at Auckland’s Maritime Museum. This unique event combined in-person and online audiences to auction 80 stunning tail sculptures from the Whales Tales 2022 art trail, raising over $650,000 for WWF-New Zealand’s vital marine conservation work. Working closely with long-time collaborator Kim Walsh of WWF, Edwards ensured seamless sound, video, and streaming services for MC Antonia Prebble, Harcourts auctioneers, and guest speakers—navigating complex logistics with professionalism and care. With two large screens, discreet video capture, and a new auction platform in play, Edwards delivered a polished experience both in the room and around the globe.
